Wild-and-crazy idea papers cover fundamentally new approaches that are covered by a strong argumentation.
We
expect a good, sound explanation of a relevant problem, existing state-of-the-art solutions, and a
convincing
argumentation of why the approach solves the problem.
Review criteria for these papers include:
- Novelty of the idea; we expect more than just an iterative improvement.
- Impact of the suggested concept.
- Soundness and strength of the argumentation why the concept solves the problem.
Papers within this category is not expected to have a rigorous evaluation, but rather a very compelling
argumentation and explanation of the idea and concept. Each paper should be maximum 4 pages in IEEE format.
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and
quality requirements.
