We welcome full research papers on any topics within the scope of the FDL
conference. Specifically,
the review criteria for research papers are:
- Quality and clarity of the presentation and accessibility to the intended audience.
- Originality and significance of the contribution.
- Strength of the evaluation.
The aim is that accepted papers should be interesting and useful for the community. As described on page
Submission and Author Guidelines,
this year includes a shepherding process with the aim of
helping authors of conditionally accepted papers to improve their work. We have also introduced a nomination and
award process for reviewers, to incentivize even more high-quality reviews.
All accepted papers will be given a presentation slot at the conference, and at least one author must register
and present their work. The length of the research papers is eight pages in IEEE format.
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and
quality requirements.
