Arriving by air: The closest airport is Arlanda Airport, located approximately 40km north of KTH. You can take the express train to Stockholm Central, or a taxi. Please see the travel information Digital Futures for more information.

Arriving by train: If you travel to Stockholm by train, you will arrive at Stockholm Central Station. The easiest way to get to KTH from the central station is using the subway system. Take the red line towards Mörby centrum. You should exit at the stop called "Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (KTH)".

There are many good hotels in Stockholm, but they can quickly be booked out, and prices can be high, so please make your reservations early.

• Close to KTH. One of the closest hotels to KTH is Elite Hotel Arcadia Stockholm. But there are several other hotels within walking distance, e.g., Best Western Hotel at 108 and Clas på Hörnet Hotell.


• Central Stockholm. If you want to stay within central Stockholm, there are a lot of hotels, but they can be expensive. We recommend that you search alternatives using systems and compare alternatives (e.g., Expedia or hotels.com). If you want to stay in Old Town, you can check out e.g. Scandic Gamla Stan. For easier train access to KTH, alternatives closer to the central station could be Central Hotel Stockholm, Clarion Hotel Sign, or the Nordic Light Hotel. Note that there are many more options in central Stockholm, and prices vary quite a lot.


• Cheaper options. If you want to find cheaper options, the hostel STF Af Chapman & Skeppsholmen Vandrarhem is located partially on a boat in central Stockholm and is very popular. If you are okay with traveling, cheaper options can sometimes be found in the business district Kista, north of central Stockholm. For instance Connect Hotel Kista, Comfort Hotel Kista, Memory Hotel. Note, however, that you need to take the commute train to get to the conference in such a case.
